[EP] Zedd – Clarity

I write this preview a mere 24hrs after it was released and the track has already hit #1 on the iTunes Dance charts. Not a bad response for a debut album. Clarity is an album that features 10 songs including tracks that the world has never heard before (unless live) with a few that have already had been released as singles (Spectrum and Shave It (Up)). There are the songs with beautiful vocals like Hourglass and Clarity to the Deadmau5 sounding Codec. For you electro house die-hards, you’ll want to shuffle to the end of the album for bangers like Stache and my favourite Fall Into The Sky which is a collab effort with Lucky Date and vocals from Ellie Goulding; simply a bomb of a track!
Overall, this album has something for everyone and in terms of production quality, it’s truly a gem. I honestly think as the album goes along it gets better and better, with Stache, Follow You Down, and Fall Into The Sky the best of the lot. For only $7.99 on iTunes, this is a steal considering the craftsmanship you get with each and every song. Enjoy!
